DBigDon - Ofcourse. Problems based on new SWIFT petrol is compiled in my ownership thread.

    http://gearheads.in/showthread.php?7...-NeW-S-W-I-F-T

Apart from that below are the issues:

    1. Windshield cowl developing a gap within the first week. Cause - poor plastics. Solution - Replaced under warranty.
    2. Brakes becoming hard at low speeds. Cause - Engine producing insufficient vacuum at lower rpms. Solution - Not yet known. Maruti investigating.

I will request others to pour in their experiences on the new SWIFT.

You have my support too..i also followed up with my dealer & Territory Manager for updates as the given time of 1 month is getting close to over and they said Maruti R & D still not convinced that there is an issue with the brakes, i had to tell them if needed i shall take the route of getting Brake Inspectors (RTO) to inspect the vehicle and maye go to press to create more awareness, immediate response was please give us some more time so that they will get back to Maruti R&D team to see how this can be resolved, i did remind them that i can't wait much longer as we are talking about braking issue and not some paint polish issue to be taken lightly.

I didn't receive the AD card from Maruti yet, waiting for that. See more complaints coming from customers,

they are saying to all to change their driving style, its not their mistake.... So Maruti may be starting a driving school for teaching all their customers to drive without brake. I also planning to meet some media persons after filing the complaint.
