I really find steering a bit heavy when I drive at slower speeds inside streets, it takes quite a effort to steer. However on highways, a little flick is sufficient.

But still its amazing to drive at higher speeds, gives a lot of confidence. I just keep on praising Figo's steering feedback wherever I get an opportunity to express.

I do agree that it is bit tight at slow speeds but that's the way I like it. Even though it is tight, it is precise & easy to use. Gives confidence.
Normally if you are at high speeds a little flick means a lot but still it is tight enough that it won't lead to a mishap.

Exactly. This is one of the reason I decided to go with Ford. Other cars I liked was Punto and Linea.

Brake pads and disks are not covered under warranty, as they are wear and tear parts, but I feel it cannot be worn-out within 8500 kms. If it shows problems this early, it has to do something with the manufacturing or original fittings.
Update - Brake shudder was still a problem. Gave the car for 1 - year service today at Lathangi Ford and highlighted this issue. They have replaced the brake disks and brake pads under warranty. SA said it was possible because the total mileage was still under 10000.

Did not test it yet, will go for a highway drive this weekend and see.
