A Short Ride To Thank The Rain Gods

Not a travelogue really, but a short cozy outing. Out of bed at 12.30 in the noon to find awesome weather outside. It would have been a waste of time sitting at home. Hurried up, left at 2.30 and did a short ride. Home-Thane-Panvel-Palaspe-Karnala-Pen-Khopoli-Home: 235 kms

    At Reti Bunder (Thane)

    Company of boats

    Old Creek Bridge (Vashi)

    JNPT Road

Clicked by my colleague Nikhil who was on the same patch...we bumped into each other later on. Anyways this shows how pleased the raingods were yday.

    Karnala

The lovely patch between Pen and Khopoli. Thanks to Nikhil who clicked my pics from his car while me riding

Hot steaming batata wada at Ramakant Khopoli. Returned home...couldn't click much pics coz of rain. A Sunday well spent, specially after getting off the bed at 12.30 in the noon.

Seems like the rain gods in Bangalore are still awaiting their tax cut to let us enjoy some good weather. Ggggrrrrrrr.

As always, lucky you! I haven't come across many bikers enjoy riding in the rain. It's super fun IMO.

Good one pulsurge. How did the CBR behave in the wet roads? Cleaning the bike after the ride must have been a pain isn't it?

raama: The tyres are good on particular type of roads. The too smoother ones- don't know what they are called, the ones which are made patch by patch. The rear fishtails if I push the bike

Are they made up from soft compound then? Fishtailing is a danger sign mate. Ride carefully especially during monsoon. Hope your CBR is a ABS version!!

Nope, the CBRs come with hard compound tyres. Yeah I do ride very carefully Mine is non-ABS.
