GearHeads Ghostbusters: Mission Bhangarh Mystery

The plan was to investigate the claims of a fort and ruins that existed in Bhangarh, Rajasthan. The info was that this place is just plain Haunted. Tantrik of some king cursed the place and what not and stuff... The GearHeads NCR Team couldnt just sit back and relax while rumors of ectoplasmic activity loomed around just a few hundred KMs away from their home town!

Well the original team of six, blackhorn, anubhavt, nfspoet, ArrowheadFilters, gonugupta & megatron suffered losses even before they started... gonugupta was taken down by his trip to Ajmer, obviously to check out some super secret mission details of another ghostly apparition & we were all just a little taken aback by megatron going MIA a day before the meet. I guess he had some poltergiest to take care of which just couldn't wait.

So the team of Four started off to fulfil their mission objectives. 5 AM the trip started with 3 members from Delhi, picking up ArrowheadFilters from Gurgaon and off from there. An ominous start, they faced an awful lot of traffic on a supposedly free from traffic Sunday Early morning on NH8.



After some moping over not being a full strength team of 6 they boosted their confidence by getting something to eat at a lovely dhaba named Delhi 99.



They noticed a weird flutter in the energies at the dhaba, and realized it was the clear indication of some foreign entities that were present somewhere inside or close to the Dhaba.

They looked around... and found...

What they saw, was a sight of awe as well as relief, since it wasnt anything related to their line of expertise, that is ghost hunting.

There was an Emu Farm Right behind the Delhi 99 Dhaba.









After the initial shock and awe moments, they took some pictures of the birds, contemplated the point of a Emu Farm... Eggs? Meat? And then after a nice Aloo Parantha Breakfast, moved on to their mission at hand.

The way was long and confusing, every where they looked the scenery was duplicating itself, suddenly a huge sand dune appeared on the horizon and it had a ghastly quicksandish feeling about it, the Ghostbusters couldn't help but get down and check it out...



After making sure everything was as it should be and having a lot of fun while at it, the journey continued...

An ominous start, they faced an awful lot of traffic on a supposedly free from traffic Sunday Early morning on NH8.

I sort of hate this road, truckers mushroom this part of NH-8. I had rear ended an Innova on this route :-( .

After conquering the seemingly harmless Sand Dune, they saw a PickUp with some fishy equipment.



Asking the drivers some questions revealed he was planning to try and hose down a witch who lived in a HUGE Peepul Tree. They nicely asked him to give them the directions to this witch and not to get into what he clearly cannot handle.

He agreed to the persuasion tactics of nfspoet and gave them the details, since it was close by, the GearHeads Ghostbuster team decided to take care of it without further delay.

Due to graphic nature of the fight sequence with the witch we are unable to post the pictures on Gearheads, but we'll share some victory pictures of that incident.



Yes this is the tree.



Here, ArrowheadFilters is standing where they burried that witch.



As soon as the evil with was destroyed, the brightness of the sun came back to that area.



blackhorn's socks were knocked off while fighting the witch, he had to re adjust his shoes after the harrowing ordeal.



The tree and the area was finally free of the evil witch.



The only side effect was nfspoet's had some over flowing electricity running in him, since the witch hit him with a electricity spell. Thats why his hair were standing up like this.

Thanks ArrowheadFilters, for starting the Travelogue. It was an awesome ride and we had lot of fun!

I will post my side of pictures soon. I’ll start with the the picture of our mini fridge in the boot of Safari.

After our destined fight with a powerful witch, we continued our journey towards our main mission.



We met another ghost busting team, an unorthodox approach, it was a Jeep team, they would sit on top of the jeap and exorcise the demons from the areas.



They gave us some info on a nearby Fort which was haunted by some really mean ghosts. And they had tried and given up many times to clear that fort. We headed towards the fort without wasting any effort.

The Stone Gates and Boundary walls of the compound of the Haunted Fort started immediately.



As soon as we saw the Fort, we knew something was REALLY wrong in this structure...



Again due to the graphic nature of the fight sequence footage we cannot share the images. But as before, here's the victory dance after we banished the demons in the fort.



At last we continued our journey to the Bhangarh Fort, but before we did that, we had to help out this poor little calf get the rope stuck in its leg.

Pics from our first pit stop for breakfast and tea at Dhabha "Delhi 99" on NH-8. Place was clean and food was good. we had "Aloo paratha" and pickle with tea and coke.

After having nice heavy breakfast, we left for Bhangarh and on the way we came across this huge sand dune and we decided to get down and check it out.

After spending 10-15 minutes at the sand dunes we got back on the road for Bhangarh. After driving for some 20 minutes we saw these beautiful trees.

And, as a Delhiites we don’t miss chance to click some pictures …




Because, we don’t want anyone to disturb us while clicking pictures, we parked Safari in the middle of road.

After seeing our dedication in clicking pictures and Agand’s monstrous laughing, some local villagers also pitched in by blocking other side of the road.

We checked the Main Market Ruins as well as the dancer's haveli Ruin.











We found one of the sources of the disruption in the energies in front of the dancers haveli.



We dealt with it, in the best way we knew.

And then we found another major center of souls. We found it and freed the souls from their jails. You can see the happy faces of the souls behind us...









As soon as we finished the release of the souls from this spot, the whole atmosphere of the place changed to a nice and pleasant atmosphere. The eerie feelings were gone and done with. But the real source of all the turmoil was still to be found.
