    Interiors of Gandhi Memorial

Inside, there is a hall with old pictures of Gandhiji and at the center we can sit down and pay our tributes.

I have also met Indian youngsters who do not care about these, or display lack respect for these things.

As we missing the larger picture ? or these things are taken for granted ?

with these questions in mind, we paid our tributes to Mahatma, sat there for few minutes and then moved out.

We soon climbed the tower and reached the top floor. Wife told me, "I know you love to watch sunset, here is your chance"

Indeed it was probably once in a life time opportunity, i do not remember the last Sunset at Kanyakumari. I was not sure when will be the next opportunity. There were lot of tourists like us on that view tower, they were all waiting for the golden moment.

this time, i was free as wife was doing the clicking duty..

This rock could have been the famous vivekananda rock, now unknown. but it remains strong and solid despite facing such a onslaught of water waves 24x7. Famous or Not, one has to do the job one is assigned to do.

I'm not sure if it still being made though. Knowing HM, they sure could be selling them in West Bengal even today...that is where I last saw the max numbers of HM Trekkers.
