More than the paint quality, perhaps the shade of white (it looks half white) that you got vs what is there on the executive edition makes you feel that the paint quality has gone down.
Secondly on the mileage, I don't think the route that you are taking daily is not comparable to any one. You drive through all sandhus and bondhus of Chennai and you are relying on the DTE than a full tank to tank method.
roadracer. Pitching in for Venkat, That's is correct.. For a Vista the seat covers may be a few hundred less since it does not have the arm rest on the rear seat.

I really like the seat covers... Mine are some cheap cheap ones now 5 yrs old. Time to change soon I guess.
The decals are surprisingly goodvery tasteful and subtle
