Great Phanikar. It does remind of my my bike trips in Delhi and around. Just that they were of lower magnitude - never more than 1000km. The plan of doing a Leh-Laddakh bike-trip from Delhi / Manali remained only a plan and I had to move to Hyd, leaving the plan in dying state. (Though, I am planning to compensate it with a car trip next year (hopefully))

How does this Castrol Bike thing work out - do they fund the entire expense of your trip - or something else. Apologies if I missed the detail in you mammoth travelogue. 15 days, 5800km is an awesome run. Do post the route you followed in google maps as well - will give us an idea of terrain and places you visited in a single view!

Hehe - that'll be too much Pradeep - specially when I am not so much skilled driver to take a car through Zorjilla Pass and Leh! More than car - its thwe driver that is incapable! I'll most probably go with a crazy friend of mine from Hyderabad - my own namesake - Ravi Kalidindi. We'll take his Ritz Diesel. So it'll be, EON till Hyd and then Ritz there on till Leh and back!

    Super Trip,

I especially liked the ferry and then drive locations near ocean and sea greenery part.
