      Hello

Sorry to interrupt in between,I checked the amazon.in for led headlight bulb, for Philips brand it cost 10,500 for a single bulb whereas osram cost 5750 almost half price

Which i feel is not worth it,you can fit 90/100 w bulb

I think the price is for a pair. Earlier it was 12,500 or so.

Put the car through its annual service yesterday.
      Routine annual affair.

      I have faced one problem:

The Aircon is not cooling properly esp at low engine speeds. It went through a Stage 1 service six months ago. No improvement so I complained. What I am told is that:

      1. Compressor has failed / is failing.

      2. Replacement by the HASS will be about 25k.

So I asked them to skip it. Now I have some queries:

      1. What compressor is used by Honda. Also, the capacity of the compressor.

      2. I plan to get it outside. The approximate cost and what alternatives are available. I guess the Brio family, Brio, Jazz and maybe the Amaze use the same compressor.

      Please advise.

Better to give it to an independent and reputed car AC garage then. Shocking as to why the compressor would fail and why the cost is 25K? I think we can buy a Voltas 1 ton AC in that cost!!

My city 2006 needed a ac replacement, quoted 35k including labour. But chose outside garage ,they repaired for 5k. Things are fine after 2 weeks but i think there will be problems after 6 months.

I am sure buying a new replacement unit will be at least 10k cheaper. I have been unable to find the brand, Model and size (capacity) of unit in the Brio.

I plan to go to a good independent tomorrow or the day after.

Also, my friendly car parts man has volunteered to get me the compressor (whatever it is) from Delhi. First we are going to get an independent opinion, from the chap who may be tasked with fixing the replacement. As for Denso service centre, in Delhi thanks, but that is out.
AMG Style; I checked through the Denso list. Kanpur does have an agent, who are known to be high on paperwork, and slow on supply. My chap says that once decided he will get the compressor from Delhi within two days.
