Madhanda you can go with 15" without an issue. Ride comfort will be good as well. I've PM'd you my number.

Thank you for your response. Could you please tell the pros & cons If I upgrade to 195/60/R15 over 185/70/R14.
If the cons are not really a deal breaker, I will go for 15"

I don't see any cons except the money you're going to spend on the upgrade

Better grip, better braking, better stance, better looks, so it's mostly pros only.

      Hello everyone,

Is 185/65/R15 a right upgrade for Ritz?

I am planning to upgrade my Ritz (Color: White, Variant: VXI) tyres which had done 40k km so far. I am confused whether to retain stock size (i.e 14") and upgrade only tyres to 185/70/R14 or upgrade to 15" rim and 190/60/R15 tyres. I am going to add alloys with this upgrade. Since options are more for 15" I am very much interested to switch to 15" rims. But I am worried whether the ride comfort will become worse if I upgrade to 15". Please provide your suggestions.

I have finalized to go for Lenso samurai Hayato 14" if it is going to be 14" rim. Because this is the only model available in 14" in Lenso. I had gone through Neo rims but I didn't like the finish.

Glad to know Lenso has 14inch as well. Looks awesome, any idea about the price ? BTW what is wrong with neo wheels ? I have been thinking about transformer alloy. There are very little options for 14inch, 4 holes alloys.

195/60 R15 or 195/65 R14 are probably your best options. With 15inch there is little less sidewall but it will look better. So I guess it is worth it.

It was quoted 26k for set of 4 wheels. Since I haven't finalise the upgrade I didn't discuss further on final price.

I liked Neo wheels which have 5 holes. Because those look clean. But If you closely look at the wheels having 4 holes, the placement of holes spoils the design bit. Nothing wrong in it. Actually It is my personal view. I am not convinced with that

      Neo transformer with 4 holes

      Neo transformer with 5 holes

Very few designs in 14inch. Still I haven't decided whether to stick to 14 inch or go for 15 inch. I will post updates.

May I know which car you have?

HRS has few good designs in 14inch. And there is Malaysia brand called AD wheels (AD Wheels - We lead the style! - AD Wheels) that has more options in 14inch but not sure about the quality.

My car is Honda Brio 14inch 175/65. I will upszie it but with 14inch as 185/55 R15 is not available.

Neo transformer is I think around 21-22K. I like Reds too but it seems it is not available at 14inch least here in delhi region. I will probably upgrade next year so I hope there are more options and Lenso 14inch available here. I think it looks great and probably quality also would be better.
