This is where i struggle...and have no idea how to clean it n have to depend on the ASS during periodic servicing. Would love someone to start a thread on this.
I think it is the only step missing in the otherwise exahustive GH/fordfan Detailing Encyclopedia.

I am going to continue the option 1 for few months and then plan to use clay etc. well I see and understand the satisfaction self detailing brings .

This is how I do, so please check out others procedure too

Fabric - Scholls APC - for cleaning the stains and sweat marks on the hand rests on the doorpads
For heavy stains - Chemical guys Grime Reaper
Roof - Mild APC/Cleaner(Amway loc) to clean up the handle areas

There are some protection chemicals available for fabric, but in Indian conditions, I don't see any VFM for it.

Art Leather/Leather - Mild APC - Scholls/ Amway LOC - The good one for your skin, does not harm or irritate your skin. Clean up and put Meg's gold class leather conditioner

Floor fabric - Meg's meguiar's odor eliminator works well for me. Now I am using zeolite stones to neutralize the odor Thanks keerthi

The last point - Always place a good perfume like Dr.Marcus, kent,.... Please make sure its original

Every 6 months remove your glove box, clean the in cabin AC filter.

      Any help please ping me!
