Please correct me if I'm wrong,
When I started using OBD reader along with Torque, it didn't log any data, rather I wasn't even able to login initially. But later I kept fiddling with my login settings at server and in the mobile-app and later I found that my data is automatically being legged at the server. That data is very accurate and is being updated automatically. Now I am relying more on the online data than the screenshots because sometime I miss taking them with the data.

To successfully log most of the data, you will have to first select the sensors which you want to log, that you can do in very first option - "Select what to log", that is most important. Than you will have to figure out that your web account and the app settings match so that when you login into your account on a PC, you see the recorded data.

These are the screenshots of the settings I am having in the app:

Here is what the App Developer says.

This is a plugin for the Torque pro OBD2 application that shows all the data that Torque has access to as well as some other features that some may find useful for OBD debugging.
      * Quick and easy display of available ECU sensors
      * OBD PID scanner to quickly map and locate extended PIDs
      * Simple Telnet server that allows direct connection to the adapter to allow far easier debugging (aimed at developers)
The main application - Torque - allows you to connect your android device to your cars engine management, and read various sensors, even retrieve fault codes (DTC) and clear them once fixed. It can post to Twitter, log data, supports themes, and so much more!
If you are interested in developing your own plugin then you can find an example app here(which uses AIDL): http://ian-hawkins.com/torquescan.zip
Join the Torque forums (click the developer link below) for more information or to ask questions!
Note: This plugin needs the full version of Torque
TorqueScan (Torque OBD Plugin) - Android Apps auf Google Play.

It's torque scan that helps your Torque show the available PIDs in green colour.

You can configure for similar graphs using other ECU parameters too.

Honestly, even I am not sure why my logging stopped. It was working earlier, now it doesn't. Will try to get it working again and see.

Okay got it now, and its the same app which also helps logging data as a log file too which we can either download from the Torque app or we can see when its uploaded on webserver.

I also had issues - first couldn't login and than later I could login but data wasn't uploading. It means that it wasn't working till I started using the app and later it started working very recently thats why I am seeing my data there. I think you guys should also try it again, its working very fine and accurately now and recording every bit of data. Though the data may appear in multiple files as it splits when it finds some breaks during a trip like when we stop at a red light for longer or when we turn off the engine or when mobile looses connection with the scanner.

The app developer also mentioned that he is working on offline desktop app which will make it easy to read data offline by just downloading the log files on computer. Waiting eagerly for that version.

BTW do we have any computer application other than Excel which can shows the CSV log files in analytically way with some graphical charts/graphs?

Another cool thing you can do with Torque is putting in shift lights. Download the racing meter plugin for this.

Here is a small video I took. You may have to turn up the monitor brightness due to the poor quality courtesy the shitty cam on my cell phone and youtube compression.

xander, doesn't mounting the tab like that cause visibility issues? Why don't you try the Tablet mount by Exogear.

I tried buying Racing Meter a few months back but Google Payment kept failing for both Tadu and me. Will try getting it again. Can't u make the shift lights go red at redline?

Yes. It does reduce the visibility and I was looking for alternatives. I didnt know something like Exogear existed. So u added one more thing in my shopping list for next US trip.

I bought it only last week. The payment worked fine. Just try it again.

The shift lights can be configured for any specified RPM range with minimum (when the lights start lighting up and maximum(where all the lights blink) thresholds.

I know a friend who used one in the UK and was raving a lot about it. He was the one who convinced me to buy the Exogear phone mount too.

No Dynolicious works off the IPhone accelerometer and GPS I guess. It's used to measure performance figures of your car. Since it's not reading any data off your ECU it's just a good tool to see how quick your car is after back to back runs or mods.
