    Mileage Booster

Hi- just came upon this company MILEMAN producing HHO kits for both 2 ,3 and 4 wheeler -they are based out of Coimbatore and launched this product in Salem last Sunday- did any one from Salem see this product ? No website or other details available.
They compete with Gujarat based company GIRIRAJ electronics
    http://www.girirajsystems.com/index.html

Key Features of GIRIRAJ N-Cad H2o Kit are as under:

No need to service the Unit.
No need to replace the water in side the GIRIRAJ H2o Kit.
No need to flush the Cell / Wash the Cell.
Only water level in the side Bottle is required to be maintained.
Suitable for Petrol, Diesel, CNG or LPG Engines.
Water never changes Color to Yellow / Brown or Dark Brown.
Even after thousands of Miles usage the water in side the Kit is as clear as Fresh Water.
Needs only 1 Ltr. water for Approx. 8,000 Kms running.
Increases Average Approx. 20% to 90%.
    Increases Pick-up Power.
    Increases Life of Battery.
    Increases Life of Engine.
    Reduces Engine Noise & Vibration.
    Reduces emission.
    Available in 12V DC, 24V DC, 110V AC & 230V AC in-put range.
No need of Road Transport Office Approval as on Today.
    Approved by Insurance Companies.
Easy to install, local mechanic can do the job
No modification required like CNG / LPG conversion.

There is another company XMileager (I) Pvt. Ltd.http://xmileager.org/
    1688, Sadashiv Peth,
Near Grahak Peth, Tilak Road, Pune - 411030

If these are popular and also due to day by day raise in fuel cost- wondering why this hasn't caught the attention of both manufacturer and public ?Any issues in getting approvals from RTO, insurance companies?

Has anyone in this forum installed such kits earlier and experiences /feed backs ?

slightly different. the theory - as far as I understood - is that there is a little element of water injection, then some free hydrogen that is also introduced into the combustion chamber from the electrolysis process that helps the charge burn better.

it sounds quite good in theory. I haven't seen / experienced one for real so cannot comment about how it translates to reality. however, I have been tempted to try this sometime. maybe I will.

I hardly remember. and that was what went wrong..

But what I remember is that it generated a lot of hype about creating petrol from water, sawdust and ammonia for 5 bucks a litre and I still paid 70 bucks a litre last time I filled petrol.

I have seen one such DIY kit in operation. Digital Vampire was with me as well... This guy had it running in his M. Esteem and was reporting excellent averages too.

For those who are interested this is the owner of the Castrol pit stop in Total Mall on Sarjapur Road.

The last time I checked (a few months back), he mentioned that he doesn't have it on his car anymore due to some problems. I wasn't too keen to follow up on the real problem.

truth is that none of us will know truth from BS until we have seen it work / not work ourselves. the guy could be a snake oil salesman or the victim of a concerted effort by the oil cartel to discredit him. I prefer to consider these things with an open mind and go from there.

I had met him too when we went to Total mall to get my car washed. it was that guy who made me realize the difference between plain water injection and HHO and piqued my interest in the topic.

I lost my faith in him when he told I'd get 20% increase in BHP by shifting to synthetic oil.
