baranjil I bought them from the USA. If you need a pair of polishing pads, lemme know. Can spare a pair for you. But you need to have the 4 inch backing plate for the rotary before you can use it.

Thank you very much for the kind offer. I'll get the 4" backing plate and then PM you.

      Car Detailing-Catch of the Day

I thought of starting a thread for the DIY Detailers to allow them to post their "Catch of the day" or the latest addition to their ever increasing inventory of detailing supplies.

I will start mine though I got these delivered on Friday at my Office:

Here's a shot of the waxes. I think it's only been a week and considering they came from the UK via Royal Mail / India Post, it is fantastic. I will shop more from Detailed Clean.
What amazing smelling Waxes, thanks for letting me know fordfan

      1. I received SRP from Autoglym India which is a big achievement
      2. They gave it to me for free
      3. Their website will allow Online Shopping shortly
      4. They are setting up authorised retailers in major cities
      5. They are starting a "Mobile" detailing venture in the metros where Autoglym trained people will visit you at home to detail your Car using only AG products

Supernaut how much did u pay as shipping charges and how many days they took to deliver the products?

Any idea about how many applications can be done using a 30 ml pot?

RAHUL S, for the SRP, they retail it in India for INR 800.

For the Dodo Waxes, I paid GBP 5.94 per pot and another GBP 4.94 for a Dodo Hand Applicator. Total GBP 20.21 including GBP 6.19 for Shipping.
The pot says it should do 3-4 cars so that means 6-8 applications. If applied over a sealant, once a month should be OK.

too much...you would be wasting product...one/two coats will give you three months plus...all that will be left is just wash the car

should get around 2-3 applications of full car from the panel pots...and if you are really miserly in application then probably more...in this case miserly is good because thin is always better...

what if no Sealant is used and Dodo is applied directly after SRP since SRP is like an AIO and may have some sealant/protection for a while?
So, in that case can it be used every month?

yes you can certainly drop the sealant in between...you will still get three months plus...the protection is dependent on the product itself also not only what goes below...though preparing a proper base helps add to longevity...
