In case you didn't know, prices on the outskirts of the city are cheaper. Of course, neighbouring states are much cheaper - so try and fill outside if and when possible. We can do the Friday night run to Shoolagiri to fill cheaper fuel

This is a diasaster. Govt is looting common man to support the petrol companies, when a barrel was 140 $ the price was not so much ,for 75$ it s too much ,blatant corruption.

Getting scared to take out the cars now.

I hope they have also allowed private players to set there own prices. If so, there is a fair chance that players like shell will help get the fuel price down whenever barrel rate goes down...ie if it ever goes down.

      For now, back to shell

      [Repeating from the cycling thread.]

The recent fuel price deregulation is another reason to pick a bike up. Keep the driving for the >10km distances, out of city trips etc. For anything within that, cycling is a great, quick, cheap option when alone. Fuel costs are bound to go northwards, and it makes sense to save whatever we can for those times when we really need it/can enjoy it. Sub 20kmph crawls are no fun in cars/motorbikes, but awesome on cycles
