Most likely, the EMI mentioned in the ad is for the lowest variant in the respective series.

Whatever you do please take insurance from outside - you will easily save close to 30-40k!

Yes exactly it was a shocker for me too.

Yo can order a spare wheel separately from BMW but no provision to place it inside the boot.

As per Nomad's rule of car ownership costs, the total cash needed to own, run and manage a self driven Mid segment or Luxury car over 5 years is 2X the OTR price.

X$ - Cost of the Car, Registration, Road Tax, Handling charges, Insurance (1st year)
X$ - Financing Costs, Fuel Costs, Service Costs, Maintenance Costs, Parking Fees, Insurance (2nd-5th year)

Another X$ can be added if one keeps a driver, spends good amount of money for modifications, spends on detailing, toolkits etc.

Still struck...... The BMW guys never bothered to respond to my second query.. I too was busy in my sister's marriage preps. The senior finance consultant is not so sober to answer my query I guess or else probably they aren't interested... BMW Kun chennai sucks....

Dont forget to get a 5yr maintenance pack. That way your service related expenditure atleast will be Rs. 0 for 5 years

Follow your heart and don't postpone joy. I have owned one X1 earlier and a 3 series now. The servicing intervals are at 15k km and that offsets somewhat the cost difference when it comes to other cars with lesser servicing intervals. Those who say 5th and 6th servicing to cost a bomb well they are naysayers. It will definitely cost a bomb if you have to replace any parts. But generally built quality on these machines are far better and fail rarely except when you are a unlucky owner. To avoid this you can pick up the BSI package and that would give you complete peace of mind.

As far as spare tyre goes, after having driven Beemers for close to 4 years and without a spare for more than 60k kms i can vouch for those RFTs. For another 30k you can get a full set of BMW sold spare tyre kit.

      Don't postpone joy.

      please share service details.
Why do people post I want the best for my car... When there isn't anything that is the best on the car to begin with.
