Torquey, you can run 16" without any issues on the Jazz. Just need to make sure you get the tyre upsize correct.

PCD will remain same as your OEM alloy/steel wheel. Just the offset might differ, but that's not a concern.

Those are hub centric rings that he's talking about. Your authorised Momo dealer will have a list of alloys that need a HCR for your car.

Next time kindly tag sriharsha or myself. Sometimes we don't see these threads as we are on the move.

mclaren1885 - thank you for the reply. So as per the excerpt HCR's are a must when it comes to installing momos on Jazz? Could you give me references to some dealers in Cochin whome I could trust and approach to check this installation of momos? what tyre size is recommended for 16" ? I do not want to lose the ride comfort at any cost, and do not want to go for wider rubber since it might lose a bit of pulling power.

sriharsha will have those details. You can send him a PM and get in touch with him on What's App. Some models of the alloys need HCR for some cars depending on the vehicle hub data and the alloy specification.

Not sure we have dealers in Cochin who deal with Momo, we mostly ship them from Bangalore to our clients in Kerala. That said, I don't quite understand what is there to "check" with installation of alloys? As long as the PCD is correct, the tyre size is correct, it shouldn't be any more difficult than swapping out your old set with new ones.

I think you will find the upgrade sizes in the Jazz sub-section. Even upgrading tyres on a 15" could cause you to lose ride comfort depending on the tyre you choose. It's not necessary that upsizing will lead to loss of ride comfort or vice versa. I have an Ecosport that ran 205/60/16 OE size and the ride comfort improve by close to 30% once I moved to 225/50/17 with Momo Alloys.

Here is my experience with going 1 size up and in fact managing better ride comfort. But this is totally dependent on your suspension, the tyre you choose as well.
