Yes it is the facelifted (now discontinued) version.

The engine is super quiet (for a diesel) even when I rev it. Also the power delivery is just superb now. This was such a worthy service.

A couple of days back, my car felt lethargic to drive - it was extremely under-powered.

On getting it checked at my FNG, I was informed that the clutch required an overhaul. So I got the clutch plate, pressure plate, release bearing and transmission oil replaced at 105,000 kms on the odometer. Paid around 7k for everything.

Now back to the usual grind.

Are the OEM wheelcaps for Ritz available anywhere?

Or can you recommend any good alternative brand?

Do you mean the steel wheel? Or just the wheel caps?

I don't think there is any particular brand for wheel caps. Just go in for any design you like. They are all made of cheap plastic and have a similar life.

Is this still with reference to Ritz diesel?
When I owned my Ritz VDI, used to get 18-22kmpl always
      never dropped below 18
Trips to the petrol pump were very less
Now I started using my City for everyday stuff after selling Ritz , barely get 7-8kmpl

hahaha, well for me its been the other way round.

I get 15-16 kmpl in my Honda City. Its a fabulous car in all respects and I will keep it even when electric cars take over the planet.

Yeah such a coincidence we own(ed) the same cars- City petrol and Ritz diesel(sold mine 2 years ago)
In between I took test drives of other cars to replace my Ritz and even my City, tough cars to replace
Ritz has an awesome driving position and awesome turbo kick
City has a smooth, fun to drive engine with no lag at all. I dont get the hype for VW/Skoda offerings in this range , felt very sluggish in city conditions compared to free revving IVTEC. Hyundai VTVT and Ford dragon are almost as awesome as IVTEC though when it comes to AT, IVTEC CVT doesnt cut it in terms of performance and Hyundai and Ford torque converters do much better here.

Ill probably buy a used luxury car and a small car like Ignis when time comes to replace my City though I frankly dont feel like parting with this car

haha yes a good coincidence. Its always good to talk to somebody who has had the same set of cars And that too with the same engine configuration.

I have always disliked Maruti-Suzuki cars. I think in the name of fuel efficiency and "cheap maintenance", they have been selling tin cans as cars. They recycle parts for two decades across all models and there is absolutely nothing special about its cars. Its pure utility that offers pathetic safety to its occupants. Probably safer than an auto.

I love my Santro but always found it too cramped for my 6 foot frame. The Ritz is surprisingly very accommodating.
The front seats are wonderful and there is very good space for me to stretch my legs while driving. Also it provides me with under thigh support. Shocking.

This is one car that doesn't feel like a tin can. With my eyes closed, I'd think of this as a Hyundai. The body panels are strong and don't bend inwards if I press my finger against it. The car has a strong ride quality that is very comfortable. The turbo kick from the DDiS keeps my i-Vtec on its toes

I always assumed the Honda City to be over-hyped. But when I was looking for a new car in 2014, I think I went through not less than 20 cars of all sizes before being thoroughly disappointed. My biggest two disappoints were the Nissan Sunny and the Maruti Ciaz. I was low and then happened to find myself in the Honda showroom. And boy oh boy!

How old is your Honda City? Don't part with it man.

I'll probably part with my Ritz in a year or two though. Although I really wanna touch a million kms with it
I guess I'll touch 2.50 lakh kms before I sell it. Atleast I hope I do.
