Between Ram 6 coil is different and can handle more power compared to Vector, apart from what Ramie mentioned. Ram 6 midbass found them easier to blend in with NZ3ALBE sounds more full and accurate. Than again overall frequency response is different where Ram 6 can be crossed at 4k second order. Both drivers our capable in their own way. It boils down to what your listening preference is.
It all comes down to application whether you want 500 bhp ferrari or 500bhp Bentley Continental GT.

Vector to be more working up as a 6.5"inch subwoofer blending it with NZ3albe & tweeter, need to play around alot.A switch to Ram6 immediately one can notice the difference,we have tested from 31.5k to 4k so blending with an average tweeter available can do justice.Even has been tested with the Ram 2 , Titanium 2.6.The kind of amplifier one uses to pair these up will sound exactly how much juice is present internal. As far as the looks are concerned there are many drivers available with same kind of tooling.

Id recommend karan to install Vector then switch to RAM 6,hear the difference in both.Though both drivers are fabulously made & characterised, but again its listening pleasure of an individual.Thanx.

      Cheers

I am using Vectors and switching to RAM6.5 when it arrives (lord knows when ). A brief description of the difference between the two would help me listen and tune for the changes and strong points of each initially.
Ram 6 if your cutting off at 400hz 12db the frequency response is more linear and easy blending with NZ3ALBE. HP it depends on power you feed them you can cross them down to 50hz forth order but power handling will be limited. Also comes down to what music you listen to, right balance is cross them 63hz 12db will handle comfortably. Give them a good break in before expecting miracle.

I've personally not had an issue blending the Vector (either version) with RAM3 or AR3A. Don't think there should be an issue doing the same with the NZ3AlBe either.
Can't wait to try all the three speakers and more combinations of mid bass with NZ3AlBe in the coming months

Same experience here too Karan, having installed and tuned the most number of Vectors in India. Could be a tuning/installation issue if you couldn't get it to blend easily Ramie. Wonder what Rishi has to say to this, maybe I should invite him to this thread to confirm if what is being claimed is true

Anytime 👍🏼 both drivers are very different for their purpose, probably you should listen to RAM6 too,can make out the difference,my clients who are absolute noob could make out differences immediately,we r still blessed with hearing to judge.
Best, play the EMMA cd each drivers speaks for itself 😉

Installation or Tuning Errors is not an issue at SoundFactor or AudioGizmos. We have overcome these.
