I had ordered this item 2 weeks back. With limited knowledge on the subject, I understand XHP50 would give a beautiful light output and dual beam setup should not cause any glare and give close to halogen spread

Generally there is no way on fully built products.
Either remove the chip and try locating a part number on the back/sides or take a microscope and observe the die and gold bond wires.
To my eye, looks a decent product. Just that phosphor is looking little pale yellow rather than Ocure yellow, these might be 7000k (Hint of blue)as compared to advertised 6000k

      A good read-

Observe the XHP die. With 4 small squares in it.

Got chance to DIY installation of the LED bulbs. Unfortunately, unable to get the desired beam pattern

I have installed the bulbs with led aligned vertically, and parallel to reflector arc
However there is just no beam pattern and light is everywhere. To naked eye the illumination looked no different than earlier except color temp

This is very unfortunate and should'nt have happened. Try below-

      1. LED should be aligned Horizontally, not vertically. Each LED pointing out the sides.
      2. Do not install the bulb but hold it in hand, Try playing around with the position. Moving it In-out, Sideways or Round and tilt.
      3. If the bulb has adjustable washer/ Mounting chuck, Try adjusting those. Usually a small L&K Spanner is required for this.

P.s- Why does your Glare control cap appear gnawed/Broken? I mean the top part is tapering off. There is a V shape cut. Is this by design?

I guess... lights have never been opened or tempered. This is the first experiment. Interestingly, both glare shield are like this

What is the pattern you get with stock bulbs? You have a pic? And a pic of stock bulbs too.

Seems you forgot to attach H7 bulb pic.

I'm attaching Philips Racing vision and xtremevision in H7 (well, both look same). This is a direct replacement for stock. and I remember that they look like the stock bulb.

      Hmm.
      1. There is an L&K receptable on the LED bulb. Ask the Manufacturer if it can be adjusted using this.
      2. Line up LED bulb with halogen bulb. Does the LED line up properly with filament location?
