    The Automobile Scale Models thread

Automobiles have inspired me throughout my life so far and the idea of 'collecting' something related to automobiles started long back when I happened to receive a role of paper (which I later realised is some form of printing paper for some medical equipment). It all started by cutting pictures of cars and bikes from newspaper and magazines and pasting them to this huge role. I was able to make up to four to five foot long of pasted automobile pictures back then, which I proudly used to show to my friends and relatives

Scale model collection was a step up to my hobby of collecting Automobile pictures. My goal,as my mom's, is to fill the Glass showcase in my living room back home full of automobile replicas. So far, I have been able to fill only 15% of it, with my collections.I started my collections with motorcycle replicas which I expanded to cars at a later point of time.

I am sure that I am not alone here in this huge community, who loves collecting automobile replicas. So why don't we treat this as a hub to share the informations and details regarding Scale models.

Here , I start with some pictures of some of my collections.

My latest acquisition : Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano Radio Controlled

@Tadu: They are not expensive. I picked it up from the DXB airport when I was unsure what to do with the extra currency I had. It was around 90Dhs.They are fun to drift around.
