That is a very difficult question.

what Aria gives you over Storme 4x2:
      1. Safety features (6 airbags, ESP, navigation, cupholders, usable 3rd row seats etc)
      2. A very well planted ride, and much higher stability at high speeds.
      3. 4x4
      4. Low price of acquisition

What Storme gives you over Aria:
      1. SUV Looks over Aria's MUV looks.
      2. Better driving position - bird's eye view or king of the road, whatever you want to call it.
      3. New car feeling, and color choice.

I am really shocked to see the most adorable competitor for my Beast run 140K, VX 4x4,3.0 ltr but it's 8yrs now! and yours is just 5yrs..

The choices you are making has no match to our beast, pls consider retaining the one you have till have fortune for a Range rover,Q3,X1 or anything to this class! considering you have constrain of CC in Delhi

I suppose You have no Issue driving out from Delhi like the Himalayas (my most wanting place)why would you let go the fun,

my recent acquaintance with a mo**n who banged me from behind made my choice of retaining the beast for few more yrs,
I was in no hurry and motivation to go fast to office that day a small car not sure which one but a hatch
gave me a sort of jerk from behind, only to realize a guy with his GF maybe trying to Showoff was trying to cruise in a peak mon traffic imagine and I could see the Car front part fully damaged with headlight hanging down like a ejected d#@k, front bumper pealed like a banana!
I was unable to even slow down and pick an argument, it was so crowded traffic. he had realized it was his blunder and escaped.
I had put the beast to side to see what's my damage and for a surprise it was just a bruise mark of that car on my rear bumper nothing more... so this is a heavy metal on road do not compare with any small segment so called sub 4 SUV which I am never get convinced of.

so just buy a small hatch to city drive maybe and please retain this my take!

I am late seeing this thread, sorry for that.

If I were you, I wouldn't think about changing my Safari for next two years atleast. You already have a house purchase plan, I'd say focus there and postpone car buying by a year or two.

      One thing at a time!!

Thanks, but, I've a budget of doing both. However, I've dropped the plan for sometime. As, I'm not going for the ARIA (used car) as family is against the used car thing.

Also, I really like the Isuzu D-MAX V-Cross. 4X4 with all bells and whistle at 12.49 ex showroom. So, I'll wait for the ban lift in Delhi.

lol ... Next hearing is on June 26, that will make things clear. Still, I've an option of buying it from Chandigarh / Punjab. (have some contacts there - our village).

It's a pickup truck in line of Tata Xenon XT. But, much better interiors, features, and safety than the Xenon.

Dmax vcross is just the right thing. The Indian version does not have a diff lock though.

Thats sad, 4X4s are kind of handicapped without differential lock, ratter I feel a RWD with diff lock is better bet than a handicapped AWD on tricky terrains. Are there any easy workarounds to enable diff lock in such vehicles?

Yes, it's not there. I think, in this budget only Xenon XT & Safari Dicor EX 4X4 has LSD. ( Not sure about Scorpio)
