New car won't be new always. And that too in delhi. Wax doesn't suffice to swirls and minor scratches. Also finishes that a polish give as compared to a carnauba wax is completely different. I checked both and found that the combi gives an ultimate touch feel and gloss.

I have checked by washing yesterday that beading was very high still. Previously the wax was used almost a month back.

So logically the combi of both would be in place for atleast 3 months.

Best time to start detailing is when the car is new, that time you are just maintaining the look.

Exactly, also you'll set a benchmark to you subsequent detailing where you can compare the current one with the first one to check if the paint and other things feels the same as they are when the dhanno is new..

Will it thin or remove some part of the clear coat if polished?

I personally have observed that newer cars or when it get serviced and washed the looks remains good for a month or so if you dust it regularly so that nothing sticks on the paint. But I can understand what you meant.

Just use a LED light or check suns reflection on it or park it under the yellow streetlight and you will see all the swirls in all its glory for a few months old new car if it's not maintained properly. My goal is to maintain the showroom look for years not months.
