      Ceramic Pro?

      Hi All,

Has anyone tried the detailer called Ceramic Pro?

They have ceramic coating, hydrophobic etc. Starts from 23k to 60k. Is it worth it?
      Thanks,

I don't think so. I can repaint my whole car from a good place 2 to 3 times at least with this price.

Just checked their website. They are mostly in South India. 23K for Polo, hatch ? I will have to check the full paintjob from authorized service center but if I remember the price is more or less same. Honestly I do not think the authorized centre use high quality paint. But obviously they have the perfect color. There are so many shades of paint for a color that is the reason I never go outside as I fear it might fade sooner or slight mismatch or something.

HI Kimi, yes seems expensive. I am not interesting in repainting. I am interested in their ceramic coating, which seems to not be reflective but water does not stick to it. They have a hydrophobic coating
      Thanks,

Hi Sir, No experience, but it is not about painting. May be they do. But their highlight is they have a ceramic paint protection coating and hydrophic coating, polishing etc.
Water does not seem to stick to it at all.
They even have fire resistant coating.
Even knife does not seem to scratch it

      Check this out!

Sorry for the confusion. It is so expensive that I thought they will do something like repaint but it is for protecting purpose. TBH this is something I might be tempted to try on but fortunately or unfortunately it is not available here. This is another option which is for protection but does not provide any shine. I am little tempted to try this out for the front bumper and rear bumper. Anyone has tried this ? http://carcarestores.3mindia.co.in/O...rotection-Film

Surely worth it if you keep your car in the living room on display and not use it at all.

Haha! Trust you to come up with something like that. May be in 2040 when Polo GT is a classic car
