What to do if car starts to rust within 3-4 years ?

In India, rust appears on car surfaces within three to four years.

The Centre is considering a proposal to mandate galvanisation of steel in sectors such as automobile, construction and infrastructure in a bid to build corrosion-resistant vehicles and buildings.

Tata Steel chief technology officer Vinay Mahashabde said that zinc can arrest corrosion and cars in the rest of the world are galvanised to last 15 to 20 years, but in India, rust appears on car surfaces within three to four years.

What is the sense when the policy makers planning on imposing bans on cars with 10-12 years or 15 years old? Better the cars keep rusting and people keep buying new cars.

I know the pain of having a galvanized durable car which refuses to get older and keeps shining even in it's 6th year. I am sure it can serve me for 6 more years unless something unusual happens. But the uncertainty created by the bio-gas filled brains of policy makers may force me to replace my car prematurely even when my current car fits perfectly in my requirements.

Atleast the car remains strong for the 15 years , rust will weaken the structure. Maybe such low quality steel is used in most indo-jap brands.
