      Talking Suggestion for Duster front seat swap or modification !

      Hello guys;

      I picked up a Duster Adventure Edition a couple of months back, other than weird burning odor during initial days & a spongy brake problem which was solved with brake bleeding(common with new Dusters) i feel the car can do with supportive front seats,it was terribly hard for first 1000 kms but now seems softened a bit, i keep using different cars and i find the Duster front seat has no side support whatsoever.
      On another forum(TAI) a member has swapped his front seats for the ones from a Ford Fiesta.

      I would like suggestions from members on what alternate seat can be fitted, i need a good side support from the seat so i can feel comfy when cornering etc.
      If any member has done any seat swap or heard of any,i would like to hear about it.

      Also if anyone can tell me which front seat they find the most comfy that would be an interesting insight also!

      I have driven Duster once and observed its seats are a tad too hard specially for long hauls. It would cost a bomb to import seats from UK and install them.
      Installing a different seat could jeopardize safety.
      Try using Gel Cushions :

      Or try Amazon.in with some cheaper versions:

      A friend said the same thing, that i was being silly,he had a few buses before & said he knows a few people who can customize the seat for me,he is yet to make good on his promise though!
      Seen electric BMW seats retrofitted into a car when i was at Top Gear(Anwars),so still looking out for seats that suit my taste here in India itself.

      Yes i have looked up some Gel foam they have great reviews,a definite purchase.But I wanted the seats to have good side bolstering that hug you through corners. Pity the good ride quality is let down by the seats.
      They seats have softened up a bit but still some side support is desired.

      No need to replace entire seats

      Changing seat is not good idea as it affect airbag deployment kind stuffs, so you can re upholstery your seats, there are lot of experts, i am from kerala so know some guys from cochin, who can do it very prfessionally, their normal charge is 8~11 k for all 5 seats, + 5k for all supports,(lumbar, under thigh, increase seat size etc), also you can remove adventure denim cover and see how seat designed, only lack is seat is not tall enough for 6 feet guys
