I had my center console dismantled 4 times at ASC due to faulty silverbox. Just tell them to Do carefully. It does not rattle.
SQ of RCA will be much better than any Coloured sound from high level.

Also, why no amp how all these will be powered?

Damping costs vary a lot. I was told it'll cost this much, but the installer charged me 1500 for front two doors. I didn't get the rear doors damped, but I do feel that I should have damped those as well.

Like Lvramanan said, you can drop the rear coaxials for now and focus on amp+front components. Damping the front door. Get rear doors damped when you change those speakers.

He said if I am short on budget I can go for Hamaan / Zook. Both are priced under 10K.

As there is no amp, it would be just replacing the existing speakers with newer one.
He says, I don't need amp with Audison. The setup will be fit for my requirement. i.e. Clarity in lower volumes.

1500 per sheet. One door needs 1.5 sheet so total 6 sheet required. He had shown me few other sheets, starting from 1100 per sheet.

      THiking same.

I have started suffering from analysis paralysis and I just want to close this chapter now. I get dreams of RMS and impedance when I sleep.

ROFL. That's a sign that you've entered the ICE Journey and attain Nirvana by spending

Jokes apart, you can always do in phases. Start with Damping and front speaker replacement for now, Phase 2 add a 4 channel amp and Sub. Use the front 2 channels for Audison components, Bridge the rear 2 channels for Sub and finally Phase 3 get a component and patch it up with your stock HU. You don't have to do it all together now. That way you get to realise what you've, what is ur strength and weakness of your drivers, what changes when you add a amp and a sub, etc.

ICE is a long lasting journey. Enjoy the journey.

Sorry my bad. That should have been a coax. Not components.

      Woah! thats some discussion!

I am myself looking at upgrading my W10 audio system since I took delivery of the car but I haven't been able to get started. The ICE world is just soooo intimidating that I am just hesitant to take it forward without any guidance. Like there is just so much things in this like Speakers, amps, subs, wiring, HI-Lo, DSP, Preouts damping, tuning and what not! Its just so confusing that I can't even come up with a budget to begin with! On top of that, I am a guy with severe OCD, I just can't stand the "Chaltha Hai" attitude of the majority of the local installers.

I would really appreciate it if you guys could help me out in this regard. My main requirement is *CLEAN POWERFULL BASS* Also I would love to audition few XUV setups in chennai.

      UPDATE

After meeting and interviewing several XUV owners and auditioning several XUV setups, I realized if I want good music, I will need to shell out minimum 35000. However being short on budget and Lvramanan advise, I planned to do this in several phases.

Phase 1 - Install underseat sub
      Phase 2 - Install Damping
Phase 3 - Install front comps
      Phase 4 - Install rear co-ax
Phase 5 - Install amp (if required)

So phase 1 is executed yesterday and I am just amazed with the results. In fact, I am just wondering now how I was living with this crappy stock setup for months. After lot of R&D,I zeroed on Hamaan HMUS-8 active sub. At the moment, I don't even feel need of further phases but with money in my pocket and I am a bad man so can't say

So it's Hamaan HMUS-8 active underseat sub, paired with 8 gauge myTvs cable and Rs 300 RCA converter. The guy did bridge it from rear left speaker. He also refused to install fuse in wire which connects to battery stating that it will cause amp to heat-up. I called up bhvm and he was great help explaining me the reasons why should I install fuse.

      Sunny side
Missing bass is now evident and even Nippon speakers sounds too good.
In less than 10000 I have achieved amazing transformation.

      Things which require working
Radio just plays crap. It's too bassy. I need to play songs from Bluetooth.
For each song / genre I need to adjust equalizer. I guess I need to work with gain.

      Question:
Active sub contains 2 channel amp. Can I use one channel to power up front components?

Thanks to rksingh1 for creating thread Lvramanan for answering queries with patience bhvm for instant help and solutions

Here is the video. It is advisable to put on some good quality headphones. Of course we can't hear bass in non bass audio device

Are you sure ? I doubt that would be the case. Can you post the specs of the amp where you read its 2 channel amp ?
