Verna is giving between 14 to16 in city with full AC on. I feel You should get more mileage on the Linea diesel considering the power.
tuning box do should improve mileage!! provided you maintain your driving habits...fat chance for that!!

I'm What I'm...
I am sure it all depends on the driving style and the know how techniques to drive a diesel

If you drive the linea like a verna, your mileage will get slaughtered. The verna is lighter, and makes more torque earlier. It will therefore give more mileage in the city. The verna will never have to run at full load in the city. The linea will be using all of its power just keeping up with traffic.
This is like that top gear episode where jeremy shows that an "M" spec beemer can give more mileage than a hybrid, given the right conditions.

My first major problem(hope it is not going to be a major one)..I noticed from yesterday that the display is showing that the ABS is unavailable..
What are reasons for the ABS not being active or not available
I have called the CRM of prerana regarding this issue. Yet to get a response from him
Will update after I receive some response from the TASC.

Vasanth, you mean the ABS light is not coming on in the instrument panel? Or is it showing ABS is not available on your display?

I can see the ABS light on even when the engine has started. Usually this has to go off after the ignition, but I can see it glowing in my case.

Then probably there is a faulty surge arrester relay caused by an over voltage. Try disconnecting your battery for half an hour and see if it still persists. Get it to Preranra, ask them to hook it up to the scanner and see what error code throws up.

A couple of Punto/Linea owners had reported the ABS light staying on because rats had chewed into the wiring.
Do you have rats around your parking area ?
The ASC should be able to detect it by the ECU scanner.
