      Ride after remap. Wow

The car was always fun and exciting to drive. But the remap has taken it up by a notch.

There was a bit of turbo lag in D mode prior to the remap. The car would take some time to wake up if we don't floor the throttle. But that has gone now. Car reaches speeds of 150-160 without making an effort. Feels like it wants to be pushed further. All the extra power after the remap is doing wonders.

Sports mode is a different story altogether. It's mental. Different beast all together. That day while returning from Bangalore I floored it in S mode and in 5th gear the car had reached 220+ and still the RPM was climbing up and finally when it upshifted to 6th car was doing crazy speeds. I reached 262 before I ran out of roads.

Before remap, in the S mode the RPM would go up to 5-6k before upshifting and it was violent and difficult to ride in small stretches without braking hard now and then. But after the remap even the S mode is pretty drivable.

I cannot get more technical than this because I don't know. Writing what I felt from a driver's point of view..

Wow. Those are some serious speeds. Extremely pleasing to read. Boy, I do feel like jumping into a remap.

Car is not yet one yr old. So I have no idea about the service cost and stuff. However I have taken the 4 yr maintenance package. So regular servicing is included in that.

Fuel costs, that's another story altogether. I am surprised that this car has given decent mileage if around 10-10.5 till now even with the pedal to metal driving now and then. Because I don't take the car out for short city runs as my city is a small ones and plenty of morons on two wheelers. Hence I mostly use the polo in the city.

However I have managed to clock 3900 kms in the last month
