      Hyundai xcent total loss

      Hi,
I bought a second hand Hyundai Xcent for 4.5 lakh vehicle from local dealer and the dealer sold me a car which is total loss and totally refurbished. I had fight with dealer and also tired every bit to sell the vehicle but was not successful. I had paid taking personal loan. Now when i had gone to Hyundai service center for normal service the service team told me that the vehicle has many problems and even though if you rectify the faults the vehicle will be having problems. The vehicle details :-
      Hyundai Xcent S
      2016 July
      5300km
      Single owner
The service center had told me to replace these things:-
Needs to replace support panel, sub Frame, suspension, steering assembly, timing case.
The total cost will be around 80k extra.
Pls suggest me whether I should go for repair and use the vehicle or sell it.

      Regards
      Jayesh

File a case against the dealer for cheating. At least have a legal notice sent.

Send a legal notice. Hope you do have proof that the car had been totalled. Also, as mentioned don't spend a penny. It is worthless.

Take the car back to the dealer ask for a refund and if he refuses to take it back, name and shame him.

Register a cheating case with police. Don't spend money on it. Once you know the car is a total loss, anything more isn't worth putting in. Legal battles take forever, won't recommend that. Few money to police may work for you.

You should take a blame on yourself too. You had time to process a personal loan, but not inspect and get service records of the car you're buying?
