ICE Bug hit again.. Need help for Honda Jazz V

ICE Bug has hit me again. However, need to keep the total to a lower amount than for the earlier ones (not defined though).

Here are my requirements for the Honda Jazz V CVT:

      1. Should have a good SQ
      2. Apple Car Play and Android Auto are must
      3. Integration with the existing steering remote controls are a must
      4. Good touch screen - Preferred to be capacitive
      5. Decent components in the front, co-axials in the rear
      6. Sub Woofer 10" with amp (5-channel, if not too expensive, if not 4 channel powering front and sub)
      7. Integration with the factory reverse camera is a good to have. If not possible, then a reverse camera which can fit on the tailgate (at the same place as the stock reverse camera)
      8. Basic damping needed to reduce both noise and vibration

Here is one of the setup I got, which I found was on the expensive side though:

      Pioneer AVH-Z9190BT HU
Morel Vertus Components in the front (or Tempo Ultra)
      Morel Co-axials in the rear
      Polk Sub woofer 10"
      4 ch. Helix D4 amp
Gauge 16 speaker wire, RCA kit and cables
Spacers for the speakers, damping for all 4 doors and boot door
Replacement of the boot mounted camera (as the OEM camera would need some kind of an interface)
Facia piece to fix the HU to the dashboard
      Fitting charges

      Questions:

Are the Morel Virtus worth almost ~60% extra cost
Any other HU that would fit the purpose
What other speaker, amp options are available
Is it needed to change the reverse camera OR can it be directly connected to the HU
what other options are available with an approximate cost

Any suggestions from the experts here would be deeply appreciated mclaren1885 gkannan piyush7243

Kenwood DDX9018SM Ticks all the checkbox requirements you've mentioned in the HU. Thanks to livelyyoungman for sharing about this unit in another thread

IMO you should check other options instead of Morel Virtus. Focal, Rainbow, HAT, SO, Infinity a lot of options are available. What's the budget you've in your mind. Based on that can suggest some models.

SGM go for the Kenwood. As put in by LVR, get the budget first. Options galore now-a-days. You have another HU as well. Not sure on its overall SQ. You can check that as well. It is from JVC and the model is KWV940BW. It is cheaper than the Kenwood.

Lvramanan thanks for tagging me in.

      Thanks Lvramanan, livelyyoungman

Not sure on SQ of Kenwood based on past experience and support. Heard JVC is good fro SQ

looking for decent speaker options as well.

Budget - preferred to be around 80k - 85k max

Kenwood is way better than the low and mid range of Pioneers when it comes to SQ. Pioneer High end HU's only have good SQ. JVC after Kenwood is also equally good.

The Morel Virtus is quite power hungry. The Helix you have may not be able to bring out full performance from it, especially the midbass.

I would suggest you look elsewhere for speakers and follow on the suggestions given above. You can also look at lower end Morels.

Don't waste too much money on the interconnects, speaker cables and power cables.
Go with 4awg wiring for power and ground section.
Something like Amazon basics is more than enough for phono cables (interconnect between the HU and amp).
Look at 16awg speaker cables, Finolex for example makes good quality speaker cables which you can use.
A 100 meter roll should cost around 3K.
here is a link for an example. Probably you can get it cheaper in the local wholesale market.

Good damping on the doors will bring the best out of the midbass. The damping sheets what offer minimum thickness with maximum density is the one to go far.

Nowadays the Pios are not that good. Other than 80PRS I have not found anything that is good in SQ. Also, 2 DIN systems are way too expensive in Pio (60K+). JVC and Kenwood have launched the systems which are much more affordable now. That Kenwood is priced around 45K and the JVC is less than 30K.
