      Please suggest Simple set up

      All,

I'm looking for a simple setup but better sounding setup. I'm not prepared to spend a lot. Want to do the following as of now.

      1. Speakers - Front and rear - stock positions and completely concealed.
      2. Tweeters - only in stock positions again completely concealed.
      3. Amp - none as of now
      4. Low to high convertor - 4 channel as I need to maintain fading effects of the stock
      5. Head unit - Factory fitted one.
      6. Damping front and back doors.

      Vehicle - Tucson.

Please pour in your suggestions. I'm planning to close installation in a month.

      Hi,
Very new to ICE and just completed really cheap setup yesterday but I am really happy with it.
Amp-Used Focal solid 4 -7k from GH member
      Front speakers- Cheap JBL co-axial-2k
Rear--Cheap pioneer A series oval speakers in wooden enclosures
      Power cable-Used one 4 awg -1.2k
RCA-1 pair from Amazon basics-Rs.700/-,1 pair Sommer cable-2.5k
      Speaker cable-Rs.700/-

Let me tell you difference from stock system is day and night.Just want to add-Consider RCA cable purchase as one time investment. You can always upgrade Speakers,Amp 😊😊😊😊

vineeth... What is your budget? That is needed to suggest you something. You can look at the setup mentioned in the post as well.
sksachinkadam83.. That is a pretty descent setup.

Vineeth you should consider amp in your setup.Without amp you can not pull full potential of speakers.Believe me when I added amp existing jbl speakers in on another level. If you don't want to spend much keep hunting for used one ,but only look here i.e.Gearheads classifieds.

Livelyoungman -Thanks for focal solid 4

What are you going to do with high low converter without amp?

get a 4ch or 6ch Sq amp and upgrade to good components like Focal flax, Audio system (Italy), Eton etc.

Not now..May be later.. I'll continue to enhance this setup gradually.

I'll be updating the setup with an amp later on.

Being said this, I can spend all 20K on speakers or speakers + high - low convertor and later add an amp. I'm open for used ones as well if they are sounding good and in mint condition. Do suggest the speakers / anyone wiling to sell, I'll save the run in time

saw a Vector midbass driver BNIB on sale for an attractive price. use it with a 6db slope capacitor. drive it directly from HU later you can use an amp. find a tweeter on your budget use it with passive xover.

Stick with the stock (and come back and thank me after 3 months).

If you are still tempted take a deep breath and count 1 to 10 and reverse. Do this every day for 21 days. Still tempted? Just repeat the breathing exercise
