Today while going to office got the red blinking light of the oil on the dashboard... Then after 10mins the water temp started showing it as hot and the vehicle stopped exactly in front of the office gate. Took it to the road side and called the Mahindra rsa. Flatbed came in 30-35 mins and then took my cheetah to Sireesh Auto.

Post checking we saw that the radiator coolant hose clamp had come off. Apparently there was a recall for new plush gen xuv for replacement of the clamp.

They replaced it under warranty and then filled in the coolant and off my cheetah goes...

So today my masai Mara cheetah tasted the desert life also I. E without water

I got an issue on my XUV too. Lets see if I get it addressed tomorrow.

For the old versions there is a groove in the radiator pipe and the clip fits well... But for plush gen it is plain pipe and this clip doesn't hold the hose... Hence a locking clamp reqd. Below is the pic of the clip which had to be replaced

Would have made sense if they applied all the recall related changes before delivery of a vehicle. Probably the service and sales have no common touch points. Could have made the customer experience a lot better. Probably tweeting or writing to Anand Mahindra for a process related change is the way.

it is common sense and a process where in if there are changes from the previous gen then those items have to be changed. NOt sure what the design and the production dept were smoking.

Luckily this happened within the city. IMagine this issue on the highway and getting stuck. But have made it sure to check with the service centre every now and then for recall or replacement parts
