I have decided to rebuild all 5 injectors in my car. Diesel consumption has gone up by 1/2 to 3/4 liters /100 km. I might order a set of nozzles and shims and rebuild them with nozzles and needles from the Audi A6 with the AEL engine. The Audi A6 and the Volvo V70 uses the same engine as in my car. These inject more fuel and should give me some extra juice from the engine. Bore on the new nozzles are 0.216mm and injects 14% more fuel. By not flooring the gas I can actually save on the fuel.
First step will be to test my injectors and just ordered a pop tester to check opening pressures and spray patterns. Idle pressures can be checked by removing the needle valve.

If none of my injectors are leaking, I might just do a cleaning to correct the spray pattern and increase opening pressures to 250 bar with shims instead of the standard 217 bar.
