Just want to update the thread.

I have installed Dashcam along with hardwire kit myself. Installation took almost 2 hrs and it was very straight forward. Power for dashcam was tapped using fusetap and i have connected it to audio player fuse [ slot no 44]. Video quality of dash-cam is very good. i definitely recommend this dash-cam.

      I have used below components.

      1. Dashcam along with GPS [70mai Dash Cam Pro from https://www.70mai.com/en/]

      2. Car fuse tap (Small Size)

      3. Hard wire kit, ordered USB type as i felt it is better.

      4. Crimping Plier Set from Amazon

      5. Heat Shrink Tubes from Amazon

Thank you for everyone how helped me in this DIY activity.

This is what I have inn my car as well - but I am just running it off the charging socket from 3rd row. The wires are hidden all along - so it works for me.

About the dashcam, it doesn't log the speed in video even with GPS module installed - that's my biggest frustration right now. Here is the link to its installation from my car ownership thread : Laali meet World, World meet Laali : New Age Mahindra XUV500 Mara Red W10 FWD - Page 21

Yes i agree, But it's fine when you compare to other dash-cam of same price range.

Yes video quality is top notch for the price. I bought it for the GPS module because I need speed logged. Missing this feature is a major let down.
