      Woot, thanks.

Followup question. If the speakers did get wet, what is the proper procedure to dry them off? I assume that turning them on is a definite no-no.
What else can we do to dry them out? Silica gel packet?

      Hydra has covered it all.

Additionally, what I do is disconnect and remove the sub, give clear and strict instructions to the service guy that the water wash would be done only when I return to collect the vehicle. And to stop the service station guys from spraying water on the inside (right beneath the door), I always stand there with the car locked; after the water wash is complete, I do the toot-toot with my remote and the fella can get back in the car

      how

how can we adjust the volume level to each speaker?
By default will it be the same rate of volume set for all the speakers?
I got 4 door speakers and 2 sub woofers (the stock setup) and what if i want to adjust the volume level for all the door speakers to a lower level and the sub woofers to the max.

@silver rocket, could you mention how many amps you are running? Two or one?

If you're running 2 amps, you're most likely running a 4-channel amp (to run the speakers) and a mono/4-ch amp (to run the sub).

If you're running one amp, you could be:
      a) Running a 4-ch amp, with the front speakers and the subs running off it, or
      b) Running a mono/4-ch amp, with the sub running off it, with the speakers (front & rear) running off the HU.

To increase the level of the subs you will need to turn down the gains of the channels of the amp powering the speakers and/or increase the gains of the channels of the amp powering the subs.

Now personally, I prefer music to be balanced, with the sub/s supporting the front and rear speakers with just enough bass support that the music needs, to make it complete.

The person who tuned your setup, if he did the right thing, would have done just the above.

Does your HU have a sub-level control?

      whats your HU?
All you need to do is adjust your fader .
The fader controls the Front/back balance
