Jack 1 anyday.
hrag whats wrong with the bottle jack?
The trolley jack allows you to roll the jack under the vehicle conveniently - the slight adjustment of position is also made easy. These are next to impossible with the bottle jack.

Suggest you pick from JC road instead of ebay?
I bought a bottle jack in the 118NE (pre 1994) days. Worked very nicely. Then one day, I had a flat and the oil had leaked out. So ended up borrowing the scissor jack from a friends M800. Moral look at simple (fail safe) technology for things like a jack.
