    Which Jack?

    Hi All,
    I plan to buy a handy hydraulic Jack for my car. I found couple of them on the ebay.

    Which one do you suggest for my Linea

    Trolley anyday. The bottle jack is a pain.

    The trolley jack allows you to roll the jack under the vehicle conveniently - the slight adjustment of position is also made easy. These are next to impossible with the bottle jack.

    +1, you can actual inspect before buying and its about same price in J.C Road.

    What is the use case ?

    I bought a bottle jack in the 118NE (pre 1994) days. Worked very nicely. Then one day, I had a flat and the oil had leaked out. So ended up borrowing the scissor jack from a friends M800. Moral look at simple (fail safe) technology for things like a jack.

    Which is why I suggested hitting JC road, for Bangalore guys. There you get trolley jacks used commercially for about the same price, or slightly more than what was listed for the ebay item.
