    Car Camcorder with GPS

There so much about the fastest speed here. How about the slowest speed?
I recently set a great speed record on LBS marg. Can anyone beat that?

Digital Vampire-Came with my newly acquired 2 channel vehicle camcorder with GPS (typically a black box for my car).
The first test drive I did with that ended in 4 hour traffic. I have a wonderful 4 hour recording of both the traffic outside as well as my reaction sitting in the car.
This sunday would be a recording enroute to Pune!

Many thanks...Bombing you with a few queries which you may try to provide answers in your dedicated thread on Dashcam/DVR .

    • Video resolution, Frame rates supported and compression format
    • Can the GPS information be overlaid on the video?
    • Does it auto-start/auto-stop recording with the IGN status?
    • Single file record or multi-file (ex. new file every 5/15 minutes)
    • Cyclic recording - Oldest recording deleted automatically on memory card full
    • Max memory card size supported//Max video length
    • Is the camera lens interchangeable?
    • Can it record and stream video via USB at the same time?
    • How long does the battery last if the charger is not connected?
    • Does it have any impact sensor/markers for safekeeping accident video
    • How is the night time performance, especially how the camera responds to oncoming vehicle headlights.

It would record even when the car is off - It is called Parking mode recording. But that drains the battery slowly, so I don't leave it in my car (along with all other valuables I take back home).

    @digital-vampire.

All your questions will be answered in a new thread over the weekend with videos.
