Its a sensible decision to sell it as if he had for a longer time then it would have gone for a much lesser price, what's the point in having a car which doesn't give FE?? People invest in new cars and burn their fingers and this is one classic case. Either its 10L or 5L car, money is money for everyone.

Buy a diesel instead, else buy an alto.

camchennai there is no need to get all defensive. A 1.6L petrol car giving 5 kmpl is ludicrous. That's the kind of mileage guzzlers like the Accord V6 and Sonata V6 give. Heck, even crankurshaft's Jag XF gives 5 once in a while. Whoever is extracting 5 kmpl out of a Verna 1.6L petrol doesn't know how to drive. It's as simple as that.

Go for the new fluidic verna. looks are subjective, but i though own a polo, liked the looks of fluidic verna over the Vento. and Hyundai is much cheaper to maintain compared to VW.
