Wonderful Raj. Had seen this before but didn't comment.
Guys, I have made a small but comprehensive comparo between the newly launched Mahindra XUV500 with the Tata Aria & Toyota Innova.
Points to note:
1) All variants are top end. Innova top end can be compared with XUV W8 2wd & Aria Prestige 4x2. XUV500 W8 AWD can be compared with Aria Pride 4x4.
2) All details are collected from their respective websites.

Lots of cars have one part that needs to be recalled: The nut behind the wheel !!!
Nope. the person did not tell me about this.
the xuv500 is too friggin small in comparison and with both,
The Endy and Fortuner are sub 25L vehicles with good Offroad capabilities whereas the XUV500 is good for basic offroad since it does not have the 4L

Me thinks the XUV500 is a Crossover, like the Aria. Not really an SUV, and not quite an MUV either, in its 4x4 form. However, the 4x2 editions of Aria and XUV500 are comparable to the top end Innova, considering the pricing and equipment/features list.

Rating 5* for this thread right away!!!
raj_5004 - also appreciate if you can do a similar comparison when you find time between Mitsubishi Outlander, Nissan Koleos, Toyota Fortuner & Chevrolet Captiva (can ignore, but still)
