Killer Headlights combo for Linea - help needed

Mods: Please move my thread to correct section if wrongly posted.

I have started a separate thread as there is no specific headlight upgrade thread for linea.

Linea's headlight houses double barrels with H1 and H7 bulbs for High and low beams respectively.

But the wiring is in such a way that there is a big single wiring coupler on it and internally there is separate wiring for low and high beam.

the sockets are also proprietary ones making it very difficult to use a wiring kit with relay etc.

I have already upgraded the h1 and h7 beams with osram nightbreaker + , but to be frank i am not much impressed with them.
its a big pain in ass when driving in rains and also in city where idiots charge me with high beams.

Mission : To upgrade my headlights to a killer combo- one that will screw the eyes of opponents and force them to lower the beam.

Disclaimer : I am the biggest supporter of low beam, i also printed flex board and put in on my cars rear " USE LOW BEAM PLEASE" but it hardly made any difference.

I have now given up and cant take the defeat any more by screwing my own eyes. all my requests to upcoming person with high beams go in vain as my lineas headlight suck and that too big time.

I want to know the feasible options like Bi-Xenon projectors, HIDS whatever that will directly go into my current headlights keeping in mind the wiring and socket adapter challenges.

I want the most powerful headlights to blind a person coming in front of me with high beam.

your expertise in this matter is excellent.

i havent come across with set up on linea which has proprietary connectors.

not only this , the low beam reflector, the housing and the backing fibre is very congested. dont know which projectors will go in these.

also when my friend tried to put led lights it caused a can bus error.

so i am looking something constructive for linea and so i opened a new thread, and when done i plan to update the images and mods in this thread itself.

i came across some stuff which is being sold on ebay india site by some delhi and salem dealers.

How is the demon eye achieved? is there any seperate bulb inside? what happens to it when the main headlight is put on.

    are these kits worthy?

also i think angel eyes are nothing but kind of shoulders right?

in the below link he is selling a 55W HID with 55 Watts ballast and dual angel eyes. he also claims its of highest quality and not like others in the market. any comments?

Pls put up pics of your connector - lets understand what will be required to modify this to begin with!

I guess this is achieved by painting the cut-off and limiter shields. I guess some use a tiny LED (desired color) to make it active.

BTW, if you go with projector route, it won't be Killer as you would have very good control on your cut-off and spread. I suppose if you go HID kit in your reflectors, all the chances your low beam also goes killer. So, first you decide you want a good lighting for you to drive or just want something for oncoming traffic.

That ebay shrouds are looking nice. if you go for that, go only with the CCFL inside the shroud, not the outside ring. outside rings tend to make the projector look wannabe kind and also small in size. The seller has 45 positive rating (100%). However prices are question considering the projector is not of a known make.
Have a look on The Retrofit Source online: headlight upgrades for all applications if you haven't yet.

Glad if this helped you in any way.

    Thanks!

shyamhegde - currently i have a low beam barrel and a high beam barrel.

when i switch to high beam the low beam stays on and the h1 high beam light comes on.

so what i was planning is if this low beam is fitted with bi xenon projector it can be used as low beam as well as high beam.

and i will fit 55w HID in high beam to blurr the oncoming traffic.

i will remain in low beam as much as i can - my intention is not to cause trouble to people driving with low beam.

only when an idiot comes in front i flash my high beam, along with the projectors pointing towards them too.

And the home-work he did indicates towards FX-R kind of set-up. Strongly suggest not to go with the ebay projector at least.
