Source - Steeroids.inFor those who await an opportunity to drive you OWN car at the F1 track of INDIA The Buddh International Circuit!
First event is on the 19th of February 2011, from 0800 hrs till 1700 Hrs. The track day is open to street cars and modified cars both Indian and Foreign.
Endeavoring to give each driver an hour of track time and attention, Also a briefing session will be held showing you critical do’s and donts of racing including understanding flags As this will be a first for many of you, they will mark breaking points, turning points and the apex. This will help you drive on the racing line and truly enjoy the driving experience. The day will have some instructors, top racing drivers, rally drivers as well as tuners at the track day that will be free to assist you and answer any questions you have.
During the day the top 6 drivers based on skill and car control rather than speed will be identified and given an opportunity of setting a time to be beaten on the next track day.
Requirements to Participate
Valid Driving License
Car Registration Papers
Car Insurance
High Risk Motorsport Cover for Rs. 300,000(Can be arranged through us for a premium of approx Rs. 1000)
Residence Proof (Driver/Election card/Passport Copy)
Helmet (ISI Standard or FIA Approved)
Two Passport Size Photos
Scrutiny for the car
Road worthy Tyres with sufficient tread. (Slicks will not be accommodated)
Working brakes including the emergency brake
Seatbelts
We will tape your headlights with black insulation tape.
Towing Eye (Available in most cars nowadays)
Track Day Costs
From 10th – 20th of January
Cost for 1 car with one driver – Rs. 15,000
Cost for 1 car with Two Drivers – Rs 23,000
Cost for non driving spectators max two per car -Rs. 3500 per spectator
(Spectator in case being driven in the car must have insurance and a helmet)
From 21st January – 10th of February
Cost for 1 car with one driver – Rs. 19,000
Cost for 1 car with Two Drivers – Rs 28,000
Cost for non driving spectators max two per car -Rs. 5500 per spectator

seeing the price
BIC is way longer than MMST. So average lap times will be more as well. So no point comparing both circuits. And I'm not even remotely good enough to come close to setting a lap record in any car, let alone on a F1 circuit. I just enjoy driving fast..Originally Posted by shishirbn

Hmm I did hear plans of track days being organized in 2012, when I was at the track. Nice initiative. Around 25 entries have been confirmed.
