ROCKING MY WORLD with Audible Physics Brahma & NZ3ALBe

Well for many of us here listening to music in our cars is an extension to connect with our minds and souls while driving and to enjoy the feeling of calmness in oneself.....eh doesn't matter if the car is booming its way to glory in the neighborhood..we feel pleased with ourselves and our inner silence by achieving good music in our cars....

Well lots of soul stirring words and approach..lets get down to business on ICE....

I have planned my system bits by bits and at times pieces by pieces...waited at times endlessly to achieve what gives me happiness...well ofcourse in the current context at least. I know many here will be able to relate to this journey wherein you wait and plan your system to achieve a good end result with a lot of patience.

Here is the list of equipment which has gone into the car is running right now...remember this was done some moons back and I am enjoying every bit of it by rocking my world of music..

      The Car -- Swift ZXI

SPEAKERS FRONT - DLS 2 WAY COMPONENTS (MS6A)

      SPEAKERS REAR - NONE

HU - ALPINE CDA 117 + PAC for steering wheel controls

AMP 1 - DLS RA 20 -- powering the fronts

SUB - FOCAL 33V2 (in a custom sealed box)

AMP 2 - ROCKFORD FOSGATE 500-1 -- powering the sub

      WIRING (RCA'S/POWER/SPEAKERS) - AUDISON + 1 SCOSCHE Power/Ground Wire

DAMPING - FRONT 2 Door damped good enough + Boot (Stinger Road Kill)

I hope I havent missed out anything here.....

The target was to achieve clean music which is more on the quality front which we refer to as SQ setup and I feel happy with the descent ICE I have in the car.

The sub is set @ 60 Hz LPF at the moment and the front comps are @ 63 Hz HPF....which I keep fluctuating to 70/80 Hz in between.

Not much drama on the phasing and bass boost part at the moment in the setup..might plan to experiment with time later.

Ofcourse a word of thanks/many words of thanks... Ajay Kamath one man who has helped me to work on building this up..wont have been possible without your help....cheers...

Havent got much pics right now..just sharing couple which shows the boot with the sub and amp placements.

Godfather...Hmm the amps are installed on the rear side of the back seats..not on/under the seats, the first pic looks a lil confusing.
The primary reason was have a clean look with the 2 amps, though could have chosen to rack them up in the boot sideways i.e behind the taillight assembly area.

rahulsharma_7 i saw in the second pic that you have installed the amps in the rear side of the back seats.. thats why I asked you was there any specific reason you installed them there? the vehicle has a small boot, when you load or unload luggage from the vehicle wont that kinda hit your amps and damage them??

Well the car is mostly used in city so no luggage requirements on regular basis. Whenever there is any requirement I try to manage it someway or the other ofcourse making sure the amps dont get scratched.

thats the best location to install the amp. easy to tune and safe.

i very well remember the incidence when i had installed the amp under my seat and a small kid in our family dropped his water bottle in the car all over the amp. luckily the amp dint fry out.
