4wd is not only for offroad but also needed in places when you visit a farm or areas that have no proper road especially when it rains. thats when you need more traction and 4H is sufficient.
for proper offroad use then yes a 4wd is required. If he is using only in city then 2wd is more than enough.

As the jeep is concerned, frankly speaking, there are some minor works which has to be taken care..
ex: the stearing is hard (probably cos of those flat tyres).
the good thing is a new Black soft top is put. The Jeep looks masculine.. I will post some new pics by tmr..
