2. Lubricate the front suspension
3. Change the spark plug
4. The 3rd screw is the one which controls the Air fuel mixture I guess IIRC(because I have not seen it)
Thank you shishirbn. Yes indeed. The pain is tolerable. I am now off again to check the scooty with my mom on it to see how it pulls
Any suggestions on the issues above?

I had given my wife's scooty teenz there and was impressed with their service. Dont be discouraged by the size of their service centre. I have stopped going to TVS Ramkay because its too crowded and the mechanics have a casual attitude.
Congrats on the DIY job. You have lots of patience and energy.

100% I agree on that.
Mechanics these days are no experts. Most of them are "Kaththu kutties". They directly recommend on changing spares rather than repairing them which should be the first step. A classic example from my recent experience is where I had to shell out 269.00 + 100.00 for my pulsar's float assembly and labour. I could've changed only the needle all by myself provided there was time.
