This is indeed pretty shocking that they took back a registered vehicle. Good for you though, atleast you're hassle free now.

Did you have some high contacts to facilitate the return or is your lawyer just too good?

I was always saying NO to the Engine after the date i sent lawyers notice to them. Tough...not really i had a valid problem and they did not have the answer for it and probably that is the reason.

As per my lawyers notice i wanted my money back.....if they would given me a new TBTS instead i would have agreed....but they said to reimburse the money i said YES

Because they took back the vehicle and the SA pointed out a problem in the casting process, I'm growing more skeptical of their quality standards. Has to be a manufacturing defect, which should mean others will face the same issue.

This might be a one off failure and I believe even unusual for RE. These accidental things can happen to any manufacturer, even read about a CBR having a crankcase failure which was of course replaced with new engine. That RE agreed to replace the block is fair enough but yeah, Enfields don't generate the same trust as other companies so I can understand your response.

They gave back your money because there are plenty of buyers for its bikes and they don't target mass market so they will be in business for long even without any change in their manufacturing processes.
