different. condenser sits in the engine bay in front with the radiator. cooling coil or evaporator sits inside the cabin, usually near the glove box.

Let me elaborate of what 007 states. In the condenser the gas from the compressor is cooled, and reconverted into a liquid. The Evaporator or cooling coil is the place where it is again converted into gas. Thus in the condenser it gives out the latent heat and in the Evaporator it absorbs the Latent Heat The cooling is due to the absorption of the latent heat by the refrigerant.

Guys I really need help! I had sent my car for getting the AC fixed and the cars tank was full. When the person delivered the car to my house there were just 5 poinnts on fuel left. He told that there was some problem in compressor and re filled gas. And said fuel was so low cause of fixing AC. Is this true guys. Thanks in advance

What about the kilometers driven should give you an idea. And AFAIK you sit with the AC the whole day your not loosing half tank. Unless your revving it for timepass. Fuel stolen IMO ! But you never know

I had actually given the car to the garage owner, but there were 3 mechanics who delivered the car. Let's see I'll ask my Dad to talk to him tomorrow. Thanks anyway dude. Do you also have a civic btw?
