Question Skoda superb or Audi A4 or BMW X1 or BMW 320d

My wife's father is planning to update his scoda Octavia , he is considering scoda superb , audi a4 , BMW 320 d and , BMW X1.He asked my opinion, naturally am turning it to gearheads. His requirements are good ground clearance , ease of driving ,and parking. He is a mature driver and drives mostly pretty slow!, type of person who doesn't want to overtake or downshift.

My suggestion will be Mercedes C Class. Its perfect for Dads. Period.
I've TDed the new C250 CGI and current 325i(with older stiffer suspension and hydraulic steering). I've found the ride in C class to be much much better, though driving dynamics in 3er is unbeatable in the segment. I like the new C class than the new upcoming 3 Series both in terms of exteriors and interiors.
We are looking forward to upgrade our Verna with C250 CGI Avantgarde next year. Its my Father's first choice, he loves it!

But the Son-In-Law is planning to drive it quite often. That's why the C class may not be perfect.
The only people who have a problem with FIAT are those who have never owned one!

Too much of thinking while typing can do this. It was intended to be "anything but the X1".
