      Alloys For Chevy BEAT-Please Help

I am looking for alloys for the Chevy Beat LT variant that i have booked. Even after 4 years of being quite active on forums i am unable to make a choice when it comes to alloys. I looked at various websites for the designs but it only left me more confused. The more i see the more i am unable to take a decision. Request you guys to help me out here. Please post pics of the alloys you think would suit the Beat. (Hope i'm not asking for too much :? )

Another help. I am planning to retain the OEM tyres for the time being and upgrade only once its worn out. What do you suggest.

What tires do the Beat come with? And shortlist some alloys with pics here. We'll help you, or atleast, try.

The Tyre size is a stupid 155/70 R14

Not very sure on what specifications i should look at. I see some alloys having different number of bolts too!!! ALso what offset should i be looking at?

I dont have a clue of what would look nice on the car with its funky design.

Here is an alloy i had liked earlier and saved to my disk. But not sure how it would look on the BEAT.

here is another look that i liked but dont know how good it would look in 14 inch (dont want to go for 15inch for ride comfort factor. Are these same designs available here.

For the BEAT i would suggest an alloy with bold design in metallic shade with thick spokes. I would suggest a lighter shade, even metallic but not bling or chrome with black accents which imo is old & passe. For better aesthetics stick to a single PCD design. Choose from a reputed manufacturer.

      Gemi,

155 profile is very thin. Suggest up sizing to 175.

But what is the color of your car ? Is it black ?

Here are few designs which i liked.

You meant section width, profile is the height of the sidewall in percentage related to tread section width.

The BEAT needs a 175 or a 185 tyre to look good from the rear, 155 is too thin.

First decide if you want simple, plain 5 spoke design or multi-spoke.

Then decide the colour, black, white, brown, chrome, silver etc. Then ask yourself if you want the lip to be in a different colour or no. Choose a budget.

Stick to the designs from Lenso, HR or any of the other reputed companies.

And for heavens sake, choose the alloys which YOU like. Its not us who will have to live with them, its you.
