      Ford Figo Alloy/Tyre Upgrade Options.

Here is the Stock Tyre data for the Figo
      175/65 R14 : Sidewall : 113.8mm Radius : 291.5mm

and here is the data for the upgrades i am looking at

      185/65 R14 : Sidewall : 120.2mm Radius : 298mm
      195/60 R14 : Sidewall : 117mm Radius : 294.8mm
      195/60 R15 : Sidewall : 117mm Radius : 307.5mm

My top priority is to improve the GC as much as possible without screwing up the suspension / steering setup in the long run. Would not mind a little more comfort on bad roads or a little less high speed cornering capabilities.

Personally i dont think 195/60 R14 is a REAL "UPGRADE" except for the looks factor since the sidewall and GC gain would be minimal. Please Guide me on what i should be looking at to improve GC and also suggest some good rubber that can handle some very bad road surfaces too (i dont want frequent tyre bulges)

Also please confirm if the GC change is equal to the change in radius of OEM and Upgrade tyre.

195/60/R15 is the wrong upsize even for the Fiesta. It will make the Figo look even weirder. Way too tall and will put a lot of strain on the suspension. 185/65/R14 is the way to go if you want increased GC. It won't put undue wear and tear on the suspension as well. Ideal upsize is 185/60/R14.

IMO, G3 or XM1+ would be a good choice for the quoted size

gemithomas - You can try the GIIIs/Acceleres/Maxxis MA-P1.

      185/60/14 is the correct upsize.

PP2s are out of production and not available for a long time now. AD-07s will definitely be an overkill.

I would say get Maxxis MA-Z1s.

In 14", You have the following options. 185/60-14 195/60-14 205/55-14
      In 15", 185/55-15 195/50-15 205/50-15

      1. 195/55/r15 is not correct. I would suggest you to go for 195/50-15. You can go for Michelin Pilot Sport 3 in this size.

Here you go. 195/55R15 is taller than your stock spec(Diameter difference is greater than 2%. Not recommended) and also odo error is more. You might end up with fouling issues too. Please use the Tire Size Calculator - tire wheel plus sizing

      Attached the difference for reference.

A difference of 2.1% in OD is ok. Though 50 profile is the better upgrade, on Indian roads 50 profile is a little too less on bad roads. I would also suggest 195/55/15.
