      Meeting with Area Sales Manager M&M on 8th October.

      After IG screwed up my pre sales and booking experience. I gave them a negative feedback when M&M had called me 2 days ago asking for my rating. Looks like M&M has taken it pretty seriously and is been following it up with me.

      My SA called and asked why neagtive rating? . I was really ****ed with his call and told him to get lost. Mrs Sumathi CRM of IG called and apologized for the presales exp,but i was not convinced with her answers.

      Today Mr Gaurav Kumar, Assistant Sales Manager Karnataka called and apologized. He wanted to meet me personally and see what can be done. Told him there are couple more guys from forums who had scary experience's like me.

      Anyone here wants to join and discuss with M&M for their pre sales , post sales or A.S.S related things are welcomed to join me.

      Venue : M&M Regional Office , Museum Road Bangalore.

      Date : 8th October

      Time : 11/11.30 AM.

      Confirmed members as of now

      1) Me

      PS: I need to give a confirmation by Saturday as to how many of us will be going. Please post here if your are joining us.

      Shouting and venting your anger ain't going to improve things over night. Just saying!

      I suggest you sit down and talk calmly to them and make them understand the issues. Work with them to make the XUV a better product. You are just 1 customer out of lakhs they tend to everyday. If you continue this attitude, at some point they will just not care anymore and move on. And then what? I've had the opportunity to work with a lot of these manufacturers and dealers over issues for my own car and that of my friends! Each time, being patient, putting out facts and working with them has always worked.

      OTOH, I have also seen friends go hammer and tongs and eventually ended up with nothing! So chose your words carefully! Because, off late manufacturers do watch such threads and might not take it lightly.

      Try to involve Senior technical folks from M&M side if you are gonna discuss technical issues. Sales guys are usually as effective as Vicks Vaporub when it comes to actual problem resolution.

      mclaren1885 , i did not literally mean vent out anger = shout at them . I certianely appreciate M&M doing what ever it can to keep up their brand image but really ****ed with the delears attitude.

      I am certainely gonna ask about handling charges , fake promises. I can't comment on A.S.S as i am yet to experience it.

      Metalspree -I would suggest that you may contact Sanjoy Gupta GUPTA.SANJOY@mahindra.com ,All India Customer Service Head ,Pune -I contacted him once to make him aware of the India Garage poor attitude towards Purple Members as they initially did not agree for vehicle free pick up/drop for any XUV's -I had to make him aware of this need and mailed a copy of the purple membership terms - immediately after this ,he wrote to M&M T.N head ,Seetharman Sreenivasan and Shankar Swaminathan,Area Manager TN customer care,Krishna Mohan ,I.G guindy head and got personalized attention the next day on a priority- trust me-after this all I need to do is just call up IG head and he sends their driver to pick up and drop and provide the best service .Once I had bit of issues on the lights under low beam-they send their technician to my place night 8pm to have this corrected ..now I understand they extended pick /drop facility for all Purple club members..any amount of arguments with IG will not help unless they get clear direction from M&M senior management. Next time you run into any serious A.S.S issues with I.G-try this ..might work.

      The same thing happened with me. When asked for that during my 1st service, they say that they dont provide any free pickup and drop and would incur a charges of 500 bucks.

      Even i was told the same thing at the time of booking. I said no thank you, i will come there myself than giving it to your F1 drivers.

      I don't know about purple membership or things like that, but for my XYLO every time I get the pick up and drop facility and the service is top notch. It might be SKS or Chrome motors.

      May be it also goes with the relation we have with the dealer and Service advisor.

      For me, the SKS owner came all the way from Salem to present the keys of my truck.

      SKS seems to be much better service than IG. You are the 5th person to praise them.

      Will probably go with SKS for first service.
